History & Background
We began our hip-hop journey as young kids from Houston, Texas. Back in the day, Cypha's were never premeditated or written down; we just drop the beat and let the lyrics flow naturally. We performed mostly in school cafeterias and backyard freestyles. CHAPTABOIS are determined to put that hip-hop flavor back in the game.
We are not afraid to be ourselves. CHAPTABOIS stands for positivity, as opposed to promoting the negative. We create songs about what we feel are important, and make songs about what we see. No one can tell us what or how we should make our songs.

How you got started in the music scene?
We started out in church. Doing shows across the nation to gain recognition, we strived to promote gospel hip-hop. From there, we decided to take our message mainstream.
What's the story behind your artist name?
CHAPTABOIS was derived from our original name, "Final Chapter." This refers to the end of one era, and the beginning of another. To give it a more commercial appeal, we went with, "CHAPTABOIS."
What's the message you guys are looking to spread with your music?
Our goal is to bring out a champion in our listeners, empowering them to be the best that they can be.
What are your music influences?
Winning, overcoming adversity, and God.
What has been the funniest moment you guys have been in or took part of while touring or playing a gig?
It was about 15 years ago. We did our own rendition of TLC's No Scrubs for a reform school for underprivileged teens. Long story short, they booed us off the stage.
What's your songwriting process?
Playing the beat and letting our hearts do the writing.
Do you guys feel you are moving on the right direction?
Absolutely. Never giving up and keeping God first works every time.
